ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dunkin’ Donuts, America’s all-day, everyday stop for coffee and baked goods, is excited to celebrate the opening of the 100th Metro Atlanta area Dunkin’ Donuts store on Saturday, October 26th. The new store, which opens this month at 6020 Atlanta Highway in Alpharetta, will honor the occasion with a ceremonial ribbon cutting by VIPs, John Costello, President of Global Marketing and Innovation for Dunkin’ Brands and Todd Levent, Forsyth County Commissioner. The event will also include giveaways for the first 100 guests, Dunkin’ and Coca-Cola mascots, Dunkin’ prize wheel and a live radio remote hosted by Cindy Simmons from Star 94.1. Coca-Cola’s Polar Bear mascot and the Atlanta Hawks Flight Crew will both be on site welcoming guests with giveaways as well as raffling tickets and gear.
The opening of the 100th Atlanta-area store marks the significant growth in the market and shows Atlanta’s growing loyalty to the brand. The Alpharetta store is also owned by the largest franchisees in the area, Stephen Attard and James Laskaris. “We’re thrilled to be celebrating the 100th Atlanta store and highlighting this booming market,” says Dunkin’ Donuts Field Marketing Manager, Celia Cody. “Stephen and James have been integral to the continued growth of the Dunkin’ Brand in this area and it is fitting that we are celebrating both the 100th store opening and the dedicated franchisees who are so important to this brand.”
The 100th store event theme will be reflected in the various festivities taking place. The first hundred guests to arrive at the event will receive commemorative tee shirts and the 100th guest will be showered with confetti and presented with a $100 Dunkin’ Donuts Gift Card. Atlanta-themed donuts will be available and every hour a raffle will be held for tickets to Hawks games, Six Flags and The World of Coke.
