MENLO PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Origami Logic, a cloud-based marketing analytics provider that is changing the way businesses drive their marketing, today announced the hiring of Scott Jones as VP of Marketing. Jones joins Origami Logic from Responsys (NASDAQ:MKTG), a marketing cloud software and services company, where he was most recently the General Manager of their display business.
“We’re really excited to have Scott join the Origami Logic team,” said Opher Kahane, CEO and co-founder of Origami Logic. “The timing is perfect. We’ve made significant progress this year on both the product and customer fronts and Scott’s wealth of experience in defining, marketing, and selling solutions to marketers is exactly what we need as we move into the next phase of our business.”
For the past 17 years, Jones has been focused on helping marketers do better marketing. He launched and subsequently led all marketing, sales, and product strategy for Responsys’ display business as its General Manager, and before that, set corporate and product positioning and led new market development as the company’s head of Product Marketing. Earlier in his career, Jones held leadership positions at customer experience management pioneer Tealeaf (acquired by IBM) and complex event processing provider iSpheres (acquired by Avaya).
“Over my career, I’ve been fortunate to work with some of the most successful marketers in the world as they tackle the opportunity that digital marketing represents for their businesses,” said Jones. “Regardless of the industry or brand, the best organizations are driven by data and turn marketing measurement and analysis into a strategic advantage. Opher and his team have gotten off to a great start in building a solution that helps all marketing teams do the same and I look forward to applying my experiences to make the company, and the organizations it serves, wildly successful.”
