Canon U.S.A. Announces New Customer Support Center in Albuquerque

Upcoming Facility Provides Additional U.S.-Based Customer Service; Creates Job Opportunities in New Mexico

MELVILLE, N.Y.--()--Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, announced today that Canon Information Technology Services, Inc. (CITS), its wholly owned subsidiary, will open a customer support center at 4041 Jefferson Plaza NE in Albuquerque, N.M. This center will provide additional customer service support and technical capabilities for Canon customers.

The 33,682-square-foot Albuquerque center will support small office and consumer imaging products, including digital cameras, camcorders, printers, and copiers. The new location will also support Canon’s growing professional printing, cinema, and eCommerce customers. It is anticipated that the support center will create at least 150 call center positions over a three-year period. Hiring is expected to commence in early 2014, with operations anticipated to begin in April 2014.
