SANTA ANA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Anodyne, Inc., a metal finishing company based in Santa Ana, California, has received an award from The Boeing Company for outstanding service and quality. Anodyne was tasked to help Boeing reduce their lead-times in the Emergent Build Center (EBC). Within one year, Anodyne received nearly 50,000 different parts for chemical processing from the EBC and received a 100% quality rating with an average turnaround time of 1.8 days, greatly reducing Boeing’s lead time and helping the EBC reach their target. John Giroux, Sr. of The Boeing Company stated, “This award is to thank you for your outstanding performance in support of our emergent requirements. Your predictable, sustainable, and reliable lead-times have been the single most contributing factor to our Cycle Time Reduction Initiative. Anodyne has continued to not only meet, but in most cases beat advertised cycle times without sacrificing quality.”
The EBC is part of Boeing’s Material Services that focuses on replacing parts for more than 11,000 different Boeing planes, including those out of production. Customer orders to the EBC are fulfilled usually within days to ensure that the various airplanes can continue to fly while safeguarding the highest quality and safety standards. The EBC is located in Garden Grove, California and assists both domestic and international customers. Anodyne assisted Boeing in replacing parts for Boeing 7-series airplanes, including the 737, 747, 777, and various other Boeing platforms including the MD series Aircraft.
Receiving the award on behalf of Anodyne was Mark Andrews, Director of Business Development who stated that “This award was the result of a true team effort, not just internally at Anodyne but Boeing made this possible with all the support and guidance they provided along the way. We are very proud to be one of Boeing’s Preferred Suppliers.”
