HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Houston-based Atlas Petroleum Markets today announced the addition of Jon Marsden, Paul Figenshaw and Nicole Stephenson as brokers on its crude oil desk.
Also announced today was the company’s expansion into Canada.

Jon Marsden started his career brokering spot foreign exchange in London. He has 30 years experience brokering foreign exchange and natural gas options, interest rate swaps, forward rate agreements, U.S. Treasuries and refined products. Marsden has held broker positions in Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Sydney, Tokyo, New York and Houston.
Paul Figenshaw joins Atlas Petroleum after 15 years at Amerex, brokering physical and financial natural gas in Canada and the United States. Figenshaw also spent five years brokering grains at the Chicago Board of Trade.
Nicole Stephenson joins Atlas from Deutsche Bank AG, where she served as vice president in global markets for the past nine years, covering Deutsche Bank's natural gas and oil marketing activities. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Stephenson held various sales, origination and risk management roles at Enron Canada, UBS Canada and Sempra Energy Trading.
Atlas will now be brokering Canadian markets, including Hardisty and Edmonton.
