SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Washington State Hospital Association (WSHA) has announced a new partnership with the National Healthcare Career Network (www.NHCNnetwork.org), an integrated alliance of nearly 300 recruiting career centers of professional associations. By joining the NHCN, WSHA now connects health care employers throughout Washington State with access to more than 2 million specialized candidates in 13 disciplines, including nurses, allied health practitioners, operations experts, physicians and academic/research professionals.
Robin Robertson, M.Ed, Vice President, Washington Hospital Services commented, “As part of the NHCN, we can now provide our member hospitals with the option of staying local in their talent searches, or expanding their searches to national pools of qualified candidates. This change takes WSHA’s Career Center to the next level of support for our health care community.”
According to Carol Barber, Managing Director of the NHCN, “Employers would always prefer to hire from their local markets, but some positions require targeting outside talent pools. With over 13,000 health care jobs openings in Washington State, the competition for top candidates is fierce. Partnering with the NHCN allows WSHA to empower its members with convenient, one-click access to outstanding candidates near and far. We welcome WSHA to our Network and are excited about working together to keep Washington State healthy!”
