NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MAGNA GROUP, Joshua Sason’s cutting edge global investment firm founded in 2009, is launching a new division focused on the financing and creative production of entertainment projects. Magna Group Entertainment continues the firm’s commitment to developing close partnerships with the individuals, companies, and projects it invests in. The new division will contribute creative and strategic expertise as necessary to supplement its financial investments.
Magna Group Entertainment’s initial partnership is with top Israeli actress, model and singer Sarai Givaty, who just entered the studio to begin work on her second EP. She is currently working with acclaimed Israeli producer, Tamir Muskat, and plans to work with other world renowned talent going forward. Under the agreement, Magna Group will finance and creatively support the EP, including two music videos and other promotional and distribution support.
Joshua Sason, Founder and CEO of Magna Group, commented “I am extremely excited about the creation of this new division which was conceived naturally as a result of this incredible opportunity to work with Sarai. Creatively realizing unique opportunities and assisting our partners and portfolio holdings in a variety of ways has been the hallmark of Magna Group’s approach to investing. This new initiative allows us to apply those same principles in the entertainment space; an area that I have a particular affinity for and expertise in. Sarai is an amazing talent and artist and I couldn’t be more proud to have her as a partner as we continue to expand the breadth of focus at Magna Group.”
Sarai Givaty is one of Israel’s top actresses and models, and has been internationally recognized for her performances on-screen in TV and film, including appearances on NCIS and CSI in the United States. Off-screen, her paintings have been shown in over 40 galleries around the globe and her modeling work can be found in the world’s top publications. While working on Enrique Iglesias’ “Somebody’s Me” music video in late 2012, her unique and melancholy voice attracted the attention of music video legend Anthony Mandler. Mandler helped her take her musical talent, honed since a young age, to the next level for her debut EP “The Monkeys Are Here” in October 2012. Since this critically acclaimed debut, Sarai’s talent has been recognized by many other leaders in the music industry, including film composer Michael Wandmacher, and her music has been licensed by companies and creators around the world.
“I am thrilled to be working with Josh on my second EP,” said Sarai. “Music has been a central part of my life since I started playing piano at age 9, and it’s wonderful to share this passion with my fans around the world. I can’t wait for everyone to hear the work we’re putting together.”
Sarai’s EP is scheduled to be released worldwide sometime in early 2014 with a first single released in the coming months.
