AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Virtual Bridges, Inc. today announced the appointment of Dirk Luthro as chief financial officer. He will lead global financial operations for the company, including planning, financial reporting, accounting, human resources and operations.
Luthro brings more than 20 years of experience in finance and accounting, most recently serving as CFO of Alereon, a fabless semiconductor company where he was responsible for all finance, accounting, HR, IT, legal, facilities and administration. Throughout his career, Luthro has been directly involved in venture fundraising, complex global financial reporting, M&A, overseas expansions, and managing Wall Street relationships. He has served in financial leadership roles for several companies and has deep experience across both hardware and software industries.

Prior to Aleron, Luthro held roles as vice president of finance at Applied Science Fiction and finance capital manager at Intel Corporation. He began his career developing and monitoring technology solutions as a business analyst at Merrill Lynch. Luthro holds an MBA from the University of Texas and a Bachelor of Science in business management from the University of Florida.
