ASRC Federal Space And Defense Wins NASA Goddard ESES II Contract

GREENBELT, Md.--()--NASA Goddard Space Flight Center has selected ASRC Federal Space and Defense as prime contractor on the Electrical Systems Engineering Services II contract. The five-year contract has a maximum value of $475 million.

ASRC Federal Space and Defense will provide electrical systems engineering support services and related work for instrument and spacecraft programs. Support will include systems engineering, study, design, development, fabrication, integration, testing, verification and operations of spaceflight, airborne and ground system hardware and software. ASRC Federal Space and Defense will also support development and validation of new technologies to enable future space and science missions.

NASA missions and projects supported under the ESES II contract include Global Precipitation Measurement, Magnetospheric MultiScale, Landsat Data Continuity, James Webb Space Telescope, Soil Moisture Active-Passive, Soft X-Ray Spectrometer for ASTRO-H, and the Advanced Topographic Laser Altimeter System.

Work will be performed at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md., the ASRC Federal Space and Defense team’s offsite facilities and other NASA locations.
