Notes to Editors
About the GXS
1. The GXS is an intelligent pump with a fully enabled on-board control system, providing the user with a true “plug and pump” capability. This means that the standard pump can be put in place and immediately operated from its own front panel, as soon as the process and exhaust connections are made and the utilities are turned on. The provision of these intelligent controls built in as standard means that GXS pumps can be operated without any additional switchgear or control hardware, saving significant amounts of time and money on installations.
2. The design also provides an excellent ultimate vacuum capability of typically 5x10-3 mbar for the GXS pump alone and 5x10-4 mbar for GXS booster combinations. This results in the GXS range consistently providing highly repeatable performance with faster pump-down times below 5x10-2 mbar than most comparable dry vacuum pumps.
