IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Boost Mobile, a leader in the no-contract wireless industry and ranked “Highest in Purchase Experience among Non-Contract Wireless Providers” by J.D. Power and Associates1, raised $106,565 for Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA), a leader in driving positive impact in communities across the county.
In celebration of its $1 Phone Days promotion that took place earlier this month, Boost Mobile committed to donating $1 to Boys & Girls Clubs of America for each new customer who signed on during the five-day promotional campaign at Boost Mobile wireless dealer locations. A portion of the funds raised will go to the national organization, and a portion will go to local Clubs in Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami and New York to be used for summer learning programs, including preventing summer learning loss, mentoring and Internet safety.
“Our Boost Mobile employees were excited to see lines of customers looking to participate in this promotion,” said Andre Smith, vice president-Boost Mobile. “Through this successful promotion our customers and Boost retailers were able to give back in a big way and support their communities through the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.”
“We are excited to partner with Boost Mobile to provide the youth we serve with access to enhanced summer learning,” said Evan McElroy, senior vice president of marketing and communications at BGCA. “This support helps Clubs give kids fun, engaging experiences and critical summer learning opportunities in a safe place staffed by positive adult role models.”
