IRONWOOD, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Keweenaw Land Association, Limited (OTC Pink: KEWL) today announced preliminary election results from its 2013 Annual Shareholder Meeting held May 20, 2013 in Ironwood, Michigan. Based on results provided by Corporate Election Services, current board members, Mr. John E. Earhart and Ms. Marjorie E. Nesbitt, were re-elected to new three-year terms on the Keweenaw Board of Directors. The Company also announced the approval of Anderson, Tackman & Company as auditors for 2013.
For the fifth time, dissident candidate, Ronald S. Gutstein, was defeated. Mr. Gutstein did not attend this year’s Annual Meeting and had a representative turn in only 9,464 votes on his behalf, totaling less than 1% of votes cast.
