DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Pamela Harless, 43, has joined Grant Thornton LLP as the firm’s chief human resources officer effective immediately. Based in Dallas, she reports to J. Michael McGuire, the firm’s national managing partner of Markets, Industry, People & Culture.

Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Harless ran her own human capital management consulting firm, working with a variety of clients to align talent strategies and investments with business objectives. Previously, she spent more than eight years at Capgemini in a variety of talent management and human resources roles, including as vice president of North America People and HR leader. In this role, she designed and led the implementation of a three-year cultural and operational transformation journey for its North American organization. She also served as the chief operations officer of Lucernex Technologies, a Dallas-based software company.
Harless is a member of the National Association of Female Executives and of Diversity Best Practices. She recently received Woman of the Year honors from the National Association of Professional Women.
Harless received a bachelor’s in business administration from Southern Methodist University.
