Military Times Ranks The Malcolm Baldrige School of Business at Post University on Its First ‘Best for Vets: Business Schools’ List

WATERBURY, Conn.--()--The Malcolm Baldrige School of Business at Post University is proud to announce its recognition on the first-ever ‘Best for Vets: Business Schools’ report released by Military Times, a trusted and popular news source serving the military community. The publication’s editors ranked The Malcolm Baldrige School of Business #11 on the list.

“Our recognition on the ‘Best for Vets: Business Schools’ list from Military Times demonstrates our business school’s ongoing commitment to excellence, innovation, and leadership, as well as our deep commitment to meet the educational and financial needs of military students,” said Don Mroz, Ph.D., Provost and Dean of The Malcolm Baldrige School of Business. “The approach we use for our military students is the same approach we use with all of our students – providing higher education programs and services founded on the principles of Malcolm Baldrige and designed to fit individual needs. This focus will continue to guide our efforts to provide a high-quality, career-centered education to veterans and all students.”

The Malcolm Baldrige School of Business at Post University, which was recently named this past September after former Secretary of Commerce Malcolm Baldrige, is committed to upholding Baldrige’s legacy of innovation, entrepreneurship, leadership, excellence, and integrity. The school’s online MBA degree program was ranked in U.S. News’ 2013 ‘Online Graduate Business Programs’ top 100. And the school’s online undergraduate programs were ranked in the top 20.

The Malcolm Baldrige School of Business has 2,700 active duty students and 312 students who have prior military experience. “Our school’s Military Program is unique and effective because it is run by veterans who truly understand military students’ needs, their demanding schedules, and their academic and career goals,” said Edmund Lizotte (LTC-R), Director of Military Programs and Veterans Affairs at Post University. “We understand that students are juggling school work, military duties, and personal lives, so we offer plenty of options and outstanding student support services. Students can complete their degrees online, on campus, or in a hybrid format, depending on what best fits their schedules and needs.”

The ‘Best for Vets: Business Schools’ rankings consisted of some 100 business schools responding to a detailed, 60-question survey about their academic policies, academic and career support, and financial aid. “At Post University, we are focused on continuous improvement, and are very proud to be placed among the top 20 business schools for military personnel,” said Mroz.
