MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Capella University (http://www.capella.edu), an accredited online university* that has built its reputation by providing high quality online degree programs for working adults, will host its spring 2013 commencement on March 16 for more than 700 Capella students who are expected to participate in the event at the Long Beach, California, Convention Center. Addressing the graduates will be Jeannette Walls, journalist and author of the New York Times best seller The Glass Castle. Capella will host two commencement ceremonies for graduates at the Long Beach Convention Center:
- 10 a.m. PT - The School of Business and Technology, School of Education, and School of Undergraduate Studies
- 2 p.m. PT – The Harold Abel School of Social and Behavioral Sciences and the School of Public Service Leadership
Capella will provide a live webcast of the ceremony (www.capella.edu/watchcommencement) for graduates, family and friends who are unable to attend in person. Capella holds commencement ceremonies twice each year: in Minneapolis each summer, and in another major U.S. city each February or March.
