Betty White Adds Her Voice to Cartoon Explaining Life Settlements

Step-By-Step Lifeline Program Video Cleverly Explains New Retirement Financing Option

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Add cartoon character to Betty White’s resume. Life insurance settlement provider The Lifeline Program today released an animated short featuring the voice of company spokesperson Betty White. The Emmy Award-winning actress lends her vocal talents to a two-minute cartoon video, which explains how life settlements work and how they can help supplement income for retired seniors and baby boomers.

“It was such a thrilling experience to add Betty’s voice to our explanatory video and breathe life into her own animated character in this fun and informational project”

The animated Betty clarifies how a life settlement transforms an underperforming, unneeded or unwanted life insurance policy into immediate cash. She also reveals how seniors can start the process so they receive a payout from their policy quickly and with little hassle. Says cartoon Betty: “We can make your golden years everything you dreamed. Just think - you may be able to meet all of your expenses, pay medical bills, visit the grand-kids, or maybe even buy that new set of golf clubs.”

“It was such a thrilling experience to add Betty’s voice to our explanatory video and breathe life into her own animated character in this fun and informational project,” said Lifeline Senior Vice President of Market Development and Branding Stephen Terrell. “Betty is the perfect spokesperson and makes a cute cartoon character to speak to boomers and seniors. Who doesn't recognize her voice?”

Through actively engaging consumers via social media networks and employing creative marketing projects, Lifeline pioneered consumer awareness campaigns and financial services branding in the settlement industry.

“Consumer education is so important for our industry, and sharing the message in a fun way just makes sense,” said Terrell. "Many people aren’t aware a life settlement is an option when they no longer need or can’t afford their life insurance. Unfortunately, too many seniors allow a policy to lapse and never see a dime.”

The Lifeline Program is a life settlement provider in Atlanta, Ga. Founded in 1989, the company assists baby boomers, seniors and their families by purchasing unwanted or underperforming life insurance policies for immediate cash. The Lifeline Program actively educates and partners with insurance agencies, estate planners, financial planners and broker-dealers to establish life settlement business lines.
