RLJ LODGING TRUST SETS KEY DATES FOR 2013 ANNUAL SHAREHOLDER MEETING

RLJ Lodging Trust (the “Company”) (NYSE: RLJ) today announced that it will host its Annual Shareholder Meeting.

The time and venue of the 2013 Annual Shareholder Meeting are as follows:

Date:	Thursday, May 2, 2013
Time:	11:00 a.m. Eastern Time
Venue:	Residence Inn Bethesda Downtown
	7335 Wisconsin Ave
	Bethesda, Maryland 20814

The record date for determining those shareholders entitled to vote at the 2013 Annual Shareholder Meeting will be the close of business on March 18, 2013. The Company previously set November 30, 2012, at the close of business as the deadline for shareholders to submit trustee nominations or shareholder proposals for presentation before the 2013 Annual Shareholder Meeting. Any Company shareholder who wishes to submit a trustee nomination or shareholder proposal for presentation at the 2014 Annual Shareholder Meeting must deliver the information required by the Company’s bylaws in writing no later than November 28, 2013, to the Company’s Corporate Secretary, Anita Cooke Wells, 3 Bethesda Metro Center, Suite 1000, Bethesda, MD 20814.
