Williams Island Hosts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Front Gate Entrance Way

Part of Major Renovation Plan

AVENTURA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Williams Island held its ribbon cutting ceremony for the Island community’s new Front Gate Entrance way with members of the Williams Island Property Owners Association (POA) Board and Aventura City Commissioners ceremoniously cutting the red ribbon.

The Front Gate Entrance Way project houses the Williams Island Security Department and its newly enhanced security monitoring equipment. It also includes the Human Resources Department. This project is part of the Williams Island Renaissance campaign for the 28-year old community. Phase 1 of the project includes the Front Gate Entrance Way, the 183^rd Street Monument Sign in Aventura and $5 million, 27,000 sf Spa to debut in April 2013. Phase 2 of the project includes the Resident Gate, Bus Shelter, Island Club refurbishment followed by enhancements to the Island Club Pool and Café restaurant.

Amicon Construction Services serves as project manager for the Williams Island POA. The architect for the project is Robert Swedroe. T&G Contractors served as General Contractor for the Front Gate and Monument Sign project. The Landscape Architect is DS Boca with Landscaping Services by DynaServ.
