WACO, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Greg Klepper, CEO of Backstage Pass Music Center in Waco and Founder of PRUF LED in Robinson, Texas, is back home after appearing on the premiere episode of NBC’s All-Star Celebrity Apprentice with Country Music Artist Trace Adkins.
Adkins invited Klepper to New York City after the country music artist was selected Project Manager for Episode 1: “The Wolf in Charge of the Hen House.”
Adkins’ mission was to sell more meatballs than the competing Celebrity Apprentice team and raise funds for one of Adkins’ favorite charities - the American Red Cross.
While his competitor’s team sold meatballs to the public at a New York City restaurant, Adkins invited 15 of his friends, including Klepper, to a private event to eat meatballs and donate to his cause.
Klepper says he was happy to help Adkins raise money for such a worthy organization as the American Red Cross. “Trace’s business model proved to be a formula for success and his team’s meatballs were pretty good, too,” says Klepper.
Adkins’s team raised more than $400,000 for the American Red Cross.
The episode, which aired on television Sunday, March 3, is now available online at www.nbc.com.
