Health IT Company Redirects Marketing Monies from Promotions to Charitable Giving

NEW ORLEANS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CareTech Solutions, an information technology and Web products and services provider for more than 200 U.S. hospitals announced today a new corporate philanthropy project that will complement the company’s trade show activities called CareTech Cares. CareTech Cares will kick off at the HIMSS13 Annual Conference & Exhibition in New Orleans, taking place March 3 - 7.

In lieu of receiving a trinket, all visitors to HIMSS13 booth #1911 will be invited to throw Mardi Gras beads into one of three containers; one each for the American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity and the American Cancer Society. Each bead is worth one dollar and at the conclusion of the conference each charity will receive a donation from CareTech Solutions in the amount of the number of beads collected.
