Plains All American Announces Officer Promotions

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Plains All American Pipeline, L.P. (NYSE: PAA) today announced six executive promotions, effective immediately.

Mark Gorman has been promoted to the position of Executive Vice President—Operations and Business Development. Mr. Gorman has been with PAA since 2006 in operational and business development leadership roles, most recently serving as Sr. Vice President—Operations and Business Development. Prior to PAA, he served in various executive management positions with Genesis Energy and Howell Crude Oil Company. He began his career with Marathon Oil Company.

Richard McGee has been promoted to the position of Executive Vice President, General Counsel. Mr. McGee has been with the Plains organization since 2009, holding key leadership positions with PAA and PNG, most recently serving as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of PAA. Previously, he was President of Duke Energy International, general counsel of Duke Energy Services and a partner at the law firm of Vinson & Elkins.

Lawrence J. Dreyfuss has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President, General Counsel—Commercial & Litigation. Mr. Dreyfuss came to Plains in 1999 with the Scurlock Permian transaction. Since joining Plains, he has been in various positions within the PAA Law Department, most recently serving as Vice President, General Counsel—Commercial and Litigation & Assistant Secretary. Prior to joining PAA, he was Vice President of Scurlock Permian LLC.

Dan Nerbonne has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President—Engineering after working as Vice President—Engineering since 2005. Prior to PAA, he held various leadership positions in engineering, operations and business development with Shell Oil Products, Shell Pipeline Company and Texaco Trading and Transportation.

George Polydoros has been promoted to Vice President—Land and Office Services. He joined PAA in 2011 as Managing Director—Land and Office Services. Prior to PAA, Mr. Polydoros was a partner at the law firm of Mayer Brown. Before joining Mayer Brown, he worked as an attorney at American General Corporation (now part of AIG) and Bracewell & Giuliani.

Walter van Zanten has been promoted to Vice President—Tax after working as Director of Tax since joining PAA in 2008. Before that, he worked in various leadership and functional capacities for Chimerical, Inc., El Paso Corp., Tenneco Energy, The Coastal Corporation, Tangram Transmission Corp. and Arthur Young.
