American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses Joins the National Healthcare Career Network Giving Employers Access to 55,000 Uniquely Qualified Nursing Professionals

HUNT VALLEY, Md.--()--The rapidly growing National Healthcare Career Network (NHCN) has added its 288th partner with the American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (www.ASPAN.org) coming onboard. Terri Pla, Vice President, Healthcare with the NHCN, announced that ASPAN selected to join the NHCN based on its robust business model for associations and commitment to connecting employers with top talent. “ASPAN wanted to provide its members with opportunities to advance their careers with employers of choice. The NHCN’s track record of innovative recruiting solutions aligned with ASPAN’s dedication to member value. We are very excited to have ASPAN on our roster of prestigious healthcare associations and societies.”

Established in 1980, ASPAN’s mission is to serve nurses participating in all phases of preanesthesia and postanesthesia care, ambulatory surgery, and pain management. According to Kevin Dill, CEO of ASPAN, “We carefully vetted several providers in jobs distribution and found no firm with the depth of experience, technological strength, and commitment to quality that compared with the NHCN. We believe our decision to join the NHCN will benefit our members in many ways and look forward to the launch of our new career center in early 2013.”

Pla reports that with the addition of ASPAN, the NHCN now includes 36 of healthcare’s most respected nursing associations. She commented, “Since our model is built on delivery of job postings to all relevant partner sites, ASPAN’s members will be able to view opportunities in their specialties with employers across the country.”

Celebrating its fifth year of operation, the NHCN is a showcase of talent in 13 healthcare disciplines. As Pla explained, “The ease of our one-click targeting of highly qualified candidates has big appeal for employers seeking ROI and streamlined recruiting techniques. For candidates, the NHCN is where they can look for jobs in a secure, confidential environment and have access to tips, tools and resources for career management. It’s the complete package.”
