NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--inovia, the leading foreign filing provider, today announced the inclusion of many of its agents in Managing Intellectual Property magazine’s “Patent Survey 2013” rankings, demonstrating inovia’s commitment to building a network of superior patent professionals offering clients high-quality service.
The survey covers more than 80 countries and ranks the top firms for prosecution and contentious work. Firms are ranked based on peer and client feedback; those in the top tiers received the most recommendations for the quality and depth of their practices.
inovia’s agents in 46 countries were listed in the ranking for patent prosecution work, with agents in 19 countries achieving the highest possible ranking including Kilburn & Strode (UK/Europe), Awapatent (Sweden/Europe), Borden Ladner Gervais (Canada), Reinhold Cohn & Partners (Israel), Spoor & Fisher (South Africa), Nederlandsch Octrooibureau (Netherlands), and S.Majumdar & Co. (India). inovia’s agents have consistently appeared in the survey year after year; in 2012, inovia agents in 42 countries were listed with agents in 13 countries achieving the top “tier 1” ranking.
In only six months, inovia has expanded its global network of agents by 32 percent, from 85 countries to 112, to meet the needs of its growing client base. Most recently, inovia added new Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) countries Egypt and Morocco, and expanded its service offering to include direct (Paris Convention) filing with new (non-PCT) destinations Argentina and Taiwan.
“The quality of inovia’s agent network is one of the key factors in our success,” said Justin Simpson, Founder of inovia. “When clients trust inovia with their foreign filings, they are also trusting the foreign patent firms we’ve selected. The fact that so many of our agents have been recognized in this survey confirms that the strict standards by which we choose our agents match the standards that our clients require.”
