LOS ANGELES--()--CraveOnline.com users have spoken—the majority of men are romantic in-store shoppers at heart, splurging on Valentine’s Day gifts based on true love—not obligation! That’s according to the findings from the first in a series of monthly male lifestyle-based polls that will appear on CraveOnline.
“And with online shopping so easy, we’re equally impressed that most men want to take the old fashioned route to find that perfect Valentine’s Day gift. Who said chivalry was dead?!”
CraveOnline Media, the #1 online male lifestyle publisher, announced today the results of a recent poll revealing what men truly think about the holiday most likely to get guys tied up in knots.
Tapping into Crave’s 30 million unique visitors, the first question asked whether users spend money on Valentine's Day out of love or obligation. Out of hundreds of responses, an overwhelming 59% said love, while just 41% claimed Valentine’s Day gift buying was simply an obligation.
As for where a CraveOnline.com user goes to purchase their expressions of love, 63% said they preferred the peace of mind of an in-store buy, while only 37% chose the quick and easy route of online shopping.
“We’re definitely surprised to see that the majority of CraveOnline’s vast male readership consists of romantics at heart,” said Jason Kobely, Executive Editor at CraveOnline. “And with online shopping so easy, we’re equally impressed that most men want to take the old fashioned route to find that perfect Valentine’s Day gift.
