Hospitals in Premier Insurance Management Services Program Receive Nearly $3 Million

Forty-one Premier healthcare alliance providers share Excess Workers' compensation profits

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Premier Insurance Management Services Inc. (PIMS) has returned $2,915,433 in experience credit payments to 41 Premier healthcare alliance member hospitals and health systems that participate in its endorsed Excess Workers' Compensation insurance program.

On February 6, 2013, the experience credit payments were made from profits posted for policy years 2005-2009 with Safety National, which provided the insurance.

Insurance program participants also have access to Safety National’s MAP Client Services program, an online resource crafted to provide tools, best practices and training materials to improve injury prevention and claim cost containment.

PIMS has offered the Excess Workers' Compensation endorsed program to Premier alliance members for 20 years. Participants have the opportunity to receive credit payments based on favorable program experience. Since inception, more than $11.7 million in profits has been returned to members.
