It’s award season in Hollywood and there’s no better time to gauge a true measure of star power on the red carpet—the high-wattage celebrity smile. Water Pik, Inc., maker of the Waterpik® Water Flosser, surveyed consumers nationwide to determine which celebrities merited a well-deserved award for best smile.

The Water Pik poll asked Americans to name the best celebrity smiles in three categories—best female smile, best male smile and best couple smile—and tallied responses by gender and by the top votes overall. And the results are in!

The Overall Awards for Best Celebrity Smile go to:

Best Female Smile: Jennifer Lopez
Best Male Smile: Denzel Washington
Best Couple Smiles: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt

All voters, whether they were men or women, agreed that Denzel Washington has the best men’s smile, with George Clooney second. Will Smith and Bradley Cooper rounded out the field of the top four finishers.

The four most popular female celebrity smiles belong to Jennifer Lopez, Halle Berry, Jennifer Aniston and Anne Hathaway. Jennifer Lopez was most popular among women voters, with Anne Hathaway’s smile most popular with men.

The couples who earned the most votes for best combined smile were Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt; Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds; Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck; and Stacy Keibler and George Clooney. Brad and Angelina got the most votes from male voters, with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds coming out on top with women.

Water Pik commissioned the poll to remind consumers that a beautiful smile is a healthy smile.
