In Argentina, where it was launched in 1982, it is now one of the country's most recognized consumer brands.
“We’re combining our traditional strengths – a globally recognized brand and retail presence in 200 countries and territories – with web, stored value cards and accounts, mobile services and cross-border platforms for global businesses, to meet the needs of today’s customers, who require more options across different technologies,” said Odilon Almeida, president, Americas, Western Union.
“The Carrefour agreement is part of our business strategy to expand and diversify our network to provide fast, reliable and convenient financial services to customers in Argentina.
