AmeriGas Elects Anne Pol to Its Board of Directors; Dr. Stephen Ban Retires

VALLEY FORGE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AmeriGas Propane Inc., general partner of AmeriGas Partners, L.P. (NYSE:APU), announced today that Anne Pol has been elected a director of AmeriGas Propane, Inc.

Pol, 65, retired in 2005 as President and Chief Operating Officer of Trex Enterprises Corporation (a high technology research and development company). Previously, she served as Senior Vice President of Thermo Electron Corporation (an environmental monitoring and analytical instruments company and a major producer of recycling equipment, biomedical products and alternative energy systems). Mrs. Pol also served as President of Pitney Bowes Shipping and Weighing Systems Division, a business unit of Pitney Bowes Inc.

Concurrently, Dr. Stephen Ban retired from the boards of AmeriGas Propane, Inc., UGI Corporation and UGI Utilities, Inc. having reached the mandatory retirement age.
