Ted Anderson, Bruce Holmes, Chelsea Henderson and Dawn Levy O’Donnell all join the firm as Executive Vice Presidents to further bolster McBee’s advocacy and Washington research offerings. Retired Army combat arms officer Ted Anderson served 19 years of continuous parachute duty in various units at FT Bragg, NC prior to completing his 23 year career in the Office of Legislative Liaison for the Secretary of the Army at the Pentagon, including as Chief of Policy. Before moving to the Pentagon, Mr. Anderson held multiple combat command assignments and was the recipient of the Bronze Star Medal, as well as various joint awards and foreign military badges. Additionally, following the attack on the Pentagon on September 11, 2001, Mr. Anderson was awarded the Soldier’s Medal for Valor, the nation’s highest decoration for bravery in peacetime, which was presented by the Secretary of the Army for heroism rendered that day.

Bruce Holmes is a retired U.S. Navy SEAL and a combat veteran bringing over 26 years of Military and Government Civil Service from the U.S. Special Operations Community. Most recently, he served as the Commander of Naval Special Warfare Command Headquarters Science, Technology Advisor, Combat Development Officer and a Special Programs Officer. His responsibilities included oversight and development of cutting edge technologies for the warfighter. Bruce’s multiple operational experiences include both Theater and National Mission units. His decorations include two Meritorious Service Medals, various combat and joint military awards.

Chelsea Henderson also joins McBee Strategic in the energy practice, bringing more than a decade of experience in D.C.’s energy, natural resources and environment space. Previously, Chelsea served as a partner at Vela Environmental, Senior Policy Advisor for Senator John Warner, and professional staff on the Environment and Public Works Committee. At McBee, Chelsea will apply her experience to manage and serve the firm’s clean energy client roster.

Dawn Levy O’Donnell brings a wealth of high-level experience in tax policy, including tax credits, excise taxes, corporate tax and energy tax. Formerly, Dawn was tax counsel for the Senate Finance Committee where she worked on energy issues, pension concerns, corporate tax matters and other tax expenditures. Dawn’s in-depth knowledge of the tax code will help the firm’s clients identify opportunities and mitigate potential threats to current and pending legislation.
