Apixio Appoints Jonathan Murray as Chief Business Development Officer

Former Aetna executive to develop strategic relationships and drive broad adoption of Apixio solutions

SAN MATEO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apixio Inc, the leading provider of clinical data integration and big data analytics in healthcare, announces the appointment of Jonathan Murray as Chief Business Development Officer. Murray will lead strategic sales and business development activities at Apixio.

Murray joins Apixio with over twenty years of experience in consulting, business development and sales roles in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Apixio, Murray was Senior Vice President of Business Development, and Mid-America Market Head for Aetna’s Accountable Care Solutions division where he led the implementation of commercial Accountable Care Organizations between Aetna and selected providers. Prior to Aetna, Murray held sales and business development leadership roles at two successful healthcare startups, Anvita Health and Resolution Health, both acquired by Humana and Wellpoint, respectively. Murray’s deep experience and expertise in healthcare industry also stems from his years as a Client Solutions Executive at IBM’s Global Business Services Healthcare Practice.
