LEATHERHEAD, United Kingdom--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The leading coke, coal and steel players will be sharing their insights at the Eurocoke Summit 2013, scheduled for 23-25 April at the Galaxy Hotel in Krakow, Poland. ThyssenKrupp, Koksownia Przyjazn, India’s Ministry of Steel, CRU, Platts and many others will be presenting at this 8^th annual conference and exhibition. The Eurocoke Summit 2013 will focus heavily on perspectives from plant managers and address issues of cost control, regulations, operations, markets and worldwide projects that have a downstream impact on the entire supply chain.

First the first time ever, the Eurocoke Summit 2013 agenda will feature multiple keynote presentations. Opening the program on the evening of 23 April, delegates will hear from Mike Barkdoll, VP, Forest Vue Research LLC and Viktor Stiskala, Senior Manager for Coal and Coke, Competence Center Metallurgy, ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe, as they lay the foundation for 3 days of profit-focused content. Peter Liszio, Manager Schwelgern Coke Plant of ThyssenKrupp, who manages the biggest coke ovens worldwide in operation in 2013 will follow by sharing his experiences from his decade of hands-on management. Later in the program, Franz-Josef Schuecker, Head of Coke Oven Machines Department, Coke Plant Technologies, ThyssenKrupp Uhde GmbH will deliver the second keynote on the state of the art oven machines of the new battery installed at U.S. Steel in Clairton, Pennsylvania, USA.

Immediately following this year’s Summit, attendees will have the opportunity to tour either the Koksownia Przyjazn coke plant to view top charging batteries or the Czestochowa Nowa coke plant to view stamp charging batteries.
