DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Main Event Entertainment, a leading family entertainment company based in Dallas, announces plans to double its operations over the next three years. Transaction funding and structure will assist in accelerating Main Event's roll-out strategy. To strengthen the company's presence in the Lone Star State, Main Event opened a new prototype facility in San Antonio in April 2012, which has exceeded performance expectations.

Main Event opened a third location in Katy in early December, and plans to roll out another center near Houston's metropolitan area in spring of 2013, thereby doubling the company's presence in the region. Main Event Stafford will be located in the popular Fountain on the Lake in-line shopping center located off U.S. Highway 59 and South Kirkwood Road. With the new Stafford location, Main Event will move away from its traditional anchor model and infuse design elements unlike any of the other facilities in their portfolio. The large-scale facility will have entertainment options for all ages, including laser tag built in between state-of-the-art bowling lanes, billiards, an indoor ropes course and more than 100 virtual and interactive games, as well as attractive dining options and full-service bars.
The plan also calls for an additional center to open in Pharr, situated in the Texas Valley.
