MINNEAPOLIS--()--Nancy Bailey, PhD, a 2012 graduate of Capella University’s PhD in Human Services with a specialization in Counseling Studies online degree program, has been named the new Clinical Director of The Meadows of Wickenburg trauma and addiction treatment center, located in Wickenburg, Arizona. The Meadows of Wickenburg is a Level 1 psychiatric acute hospital that treats the effects of trauma and addiction. Its legacy extends over 35 years with more than 20,000 clients and another 25,000 workshop attendees having chosen The Meadows.
In her new position, Bailey leads a clinical team of approximately 50 professionals, managing all the clinical operations and the programming for the facility.
Capella's online PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision program is one of only a few available online, and provides opportunities for students to potentially fulfill internship-experience requirements by working with counseling students enrolled in Capella's CACREP-accredited online master's degree programs.
