Zelle Hofmann Elects Michael Christian and Todd Tippett to Partnership

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Zelle Hofmann Voelbel & Mason LLP is pleased to announce that attorneys Michael Christian, of the firm’s San Francisco office, and Todd Tippett, of the firm’s Dallas office, have been elected to the partnership effective January 1, 2013.

Michael Christian

Christian is a commercial litigator with a practice that includes antitrust, employment and intellectual property litigation. He has significant federal and state court litigation experience, including dozens of arbitrations, mediations and trials. In 2005, he was one of the co-counsel who successfully tried a class action employment law case to a $172 million verdict, which represented one of the ten largest jury verdicts that year in the entire United States. Christian has also represented and counseled numerous Fortune 500 energy companies, financial institutions, retailers, manufacturers and other businesses in a variety of matters. He is also experienced in practicing before the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board of the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Todd Tippett

Tippett’s practice is dedicated to litigation. His experience includes insurance coverage matters, environmental issues, disputes arising out of catastrophic losses at commercial/industrial sites, and disputes involving agriculture losses. Tippett was named a "Rising Star" for 2011 and 2012 by Texas Monthly magazine. In 2011, he achieved the Advocate designation from the National Institute for Trial Advocacy for his dedication to trial advocacy.
