Books-A-Million Annual Holiday Drive Raises $122,228 for the Salvation Army

Over $1.4 Million Donated Since 2005

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Books-A-Million, Inc. (Nasdaq/NM: BAMM) today announced that since 2005 it has collected over $1,400,000 in donations from customers. 100% of the money donated goes to The Salvation Army units that are local to BAM!’s stores in 32 states and the District of Columbia.

For the 2012 holiday season, customer donations totaled $122,228.00. A portion of these donations, given in early November, will go to The Salvation Army units that are assisting those affected by Hurricane Sandy.
