“A major component of the project is leveling the mezzanine level fixed-seat Tabor Auditorium to create an additional 3,000 square feet of flexible meeting space,” states Tom Curley, the hotel's General Manager and Starwood’s Area Managing Director. “This new space will allow the hotel to service groups more effectively by offering additional dining and meeting space options.” In addition, a new design room will be added to the mezzanine level to provide an area where customized events can be imagined in an intimate atmosphere featuring the tools needed to bring innovative ideas to life.
The pool deck area renovation is also included in the project. The 4th floor indoor-outdoor pool area is already a unique venue, with stunning views of the Rocky Mountains, Sports Authority Field at Mile High, historic Larimer Square and the D&F Clock Tower. The pool area renovation now helps the hotel attract even more groups, meetings and special events to this spectacular space.
