U.S. Defense Logistics Agency Selects Constellation to Provide Electricity Supply for D.C. Area Navy Facilities

BALTIMORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Constellation today announced that it has been selected for an estimated $46.8 million electricity supply contract by the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) following a competitive bidding process. Under the terms of the two-year agreement, Constellation will supply up to 780,600 megawatt-hours of electricity to six, D.C. area Navy facilities, beginning in December 2012.

The DLA contract will supply electricity to Navy facilities including Joint Base Anacostia Bolling, Naval Maritime Intelligence Center, Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock, the Navy Medical Center Bethesda, the U.S. Naval Observatory Washington and Washington Navy Yard.
