Arthur Byrne to explain how manufacturing turnaround methods work in clinical settings

Byrne is a seasoned executive with more than 30 years of top-level business experience, having successfully led several companies including The Wiremold Company as Chairman, President and CEO, and Danaher Corporation as Group Executive. At both, he was responsible for introducing and implementing Lean Management practices that resulted in strong gains for both companies. Under Byrne’s leadership, The Wiremold Company embarked upon an aggressive program of quality improvement and product introduction using the “Kaizen” philosophy. As a result, The Wiremold Company is now considered a model of manufacturing excellence – nationally and internationally.

Byrne serves as operating Partner at the private equity firm J.W. Childs, and he recently released his book “The Lean Turnaround: How Business Leaders Use Lean Principles to Create Value and Transform Their Company,” which explains all the ins and outs of applying Lean strategy from a leadership perspective.
