OAKLAND, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Blaylock Robert Van, LLC, a leading minority-owned investment bank and financial services company, announced today that veteran public finance banker Adrienne Archia has joined the firm as a senior vice president focused on serving clients throughout the Midwest region. Ms. Archia, who has two decades of public finance experience, will be based in Blaylock Robert Van’s Chicago office.
Ms. Archia most recently worked at Rice Financial Products Company, where she oversaw that firm’s Midwest public finance practice and created, managed, and structured bond, note, and derivatives transactions totaling billions of dollars. Ms. Archia has significant experience with a broad range of credits and has had a key role in creating, structuring, and lead managing new money and refunding issues for virtually every type of municipal credit.

Ms. Archia earlier worked at First Albany Capital and Siebert Brandford Shank & Co., where she oversaw the public finance practices of those companies. She holds a B.A. in Economics from Spelman College and Series 7 and 63 licenses.
Blaylock Robert Van also announced today that Amy Plyler Nuñez has joined the firm as senior vice president of sales and trading based in the firm’s Chicago office. Ms. Nuñez most recently was a fixed-income trading consultant to Gofen and Glossberg and earlier was a senior trader at Harris Private Bank.
