Old Center Elementary School Wins $25,000 Tech for Schools Giveaway from ZAGG Inc

Nashville, Tenn., school randomly selected from more than 700,000 entries for technology makeover

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mobile device accessories company ZAGG Inc (NASDAQ: ZAGG) presented a $25,000 technology package to Old Center Elementary School in Nashville, Tenn., today. As the winner of ZAGG’s Tech for Schools Giveaway, Old Center Elementary School chose a combination of technology products tailored to meet its needs. As a result, ZAGG representatives personally delivered scores of boxes filled with items for an updated technology lab, including cameras and iPad 2s.

The winning school was chosen at random and was nominated by Marveya Gooch, who won an Apple iMac computer for her efforts.

Located 15 minutes north of downtown Nashville in the neighborhood of Goodlettsville, Old Center Elementary School originally opened its doors in 1815 as a one-room log schoolhouse. Today, the school serves more than 300 students in grades PreK-4.
