NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--REPUBLIC RECORDS has named Gary Spangler Senior Vice President of Promotion and Operations as announced by Monte Lipman, Founder and CEO. Previously, Spangler served as the label's Vice President, Crossover Promotion.
Since joining REPUBLIC in 2006, Spangler’s efforts have contributed to massive promotion campaigns for numerous artists including Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Enrique Iglesias, Big Machine Records’ Taylor Swift, and several others. His contribution at Rhythm and Top 40 helped solidify their presence as dominant pop cultural forces.

Previously, Gary was Senior VP of Promotions at Lawman Promotions for eight years. He began his career at KYLD radio in San Francisco.
