TESSCO Announces Management Change

HUNT VALLEY, Md.--()--TESSCO Technologies Incorporated (NASDAQ:TESS), a leading provider of the product and value chain solutions required to build, use and maintain wireless broadband systems, today announced that, effective November 27, 2012, David M. Young ceased to serve as senior vice president and chief financial officer of the company. Mr. Young's employment has also ended and he is pursuing new professional opportunities.

Chairman and CEO Robert Barnhill commented, “Dave made many contributions to TESSCO during his tenure at the company. During Dave’s term as chief financial officer, TESSCO’s revenues and earnings increased significantly, our stock price rose threefold and our financial position grew stronger than ever. Mr. Barnhill continued, “We have retained an executive search firm to assist us in the process of identifying a new chief financial officer. We have also appointed Aric M. Spitulnik, TESSCO’s controller for the past seven years, as corporate secretary and principal accounting officer.”
