SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--On-Ramp Wireless, developer of wireless solutions for energy automation and M2M communications, today welcomed Brad Wallace, a highly accomplished executive leader, to the team as Vice President of Operations. Mr. Wallace will leverage nearly 30 years of experience in high-tech and wireless business operations management to further develop On-Ramp’s solutions and optimize their performance.
Prior to joining On-Ramp Wireless, Mr. Wallace co-founded MicroPower Technologies, an EvoNexus Incubator company that develops wireless surveillance solutions, where he also served as COO and CFO. While at MicroPower, he drove operations and strategic planning for the company, and was instrumental in developing key relationships with hardware and software component suppliers.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Wallace served as the Director of Operations / Finance for Intel's New Business Investments, where he built businesses in Bluetooth products and media centers, developed key ODM relationships for OEMs using Intel reference designs and processors, and also directed supply chain / outsource manufacturing strategy. Mr. Wallace has also served as COO for Archos North America, where he increased quarterly revenues as much as 85 percent while reducing inventories by 80 percent and increasing the market presence of the company's MP3 and MP4 products. Mr. Wallace was also successful as the Director of Operations for Sonoma Systems, where he led both in-house and outsourced manufacturing solutions.
