SAI Global and CSR plc Win Gold at the E-Learning Age Awards

WARWICKSHIRE, UK--()--SAI Global is delighted to announce winning the gold award for ‘Best use of e-learning to ensure compliance with external regulations or internal policies’ at the prestigious 2012 E-Learning Age Awards. The award recognises SAI Global’s work with its client CSR plc to develop a global anti-bribery and corruption (‘ABC’) learning programme in response to the UK Bribery Act 2010. The project combined e-learning with facilitated workshops in a highly effective implementation across CSR’s worldwide locations.

SAI Global worked closely with CSR to deliver corporate-wide compliance e-learning and facilitated workshops for employees in high risk job roles and regions of the world reaching over 2000 employees. Both the e-learning and workshops were based on SAI Global’s library content and were tailored for CSR’s specific requirements. The programme successfully reinforced CSR’s zero tolerance stance on bribery and corruption, enabling employees to understand the regulatory requirements, the company’s policies and best practice in ABC matters.

Iain McLeod said, ‘Compliance is a topic that is not always black-and-white so training needs to enable people to make the right decisions and take the right course of action in a number of given situations. We achieved this through the use of engaging, interactive, scenario-driven content profiled to meet the individual needs of employees, according to job roles and business functions throughout the company. CSR’s programme achieved very high levels of user acceptability – disproving the theory that all compliance training is dull and a bit of a chore!’
