Marine Well Containment Company to Present and Exhibit at Clean Gulf 2012

HOUSTON--()--For the second year in a row, Marine Well Containment Company (MWCC) will take part in North America's leading oil spill prevention and response conference and exhibition, Clean Gulf. Held in New Orleans November 14-15, three MWCC executives will present as part of the “Deepwater Prevention and Preparedness” and “Lessons Learned and the Way Ahead” conference tracks. MWCC will also host an informational booth including details of their efforts to be continuously ready to respond to a deepwater well control incident in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.

MWCC Chief Executive Officer Marty Massey will join in a discussion about the continued development of deepwater containment systems in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, such as the MWCC interim containment system. Robert Tracy, MWCC’s General Counsel, will speak about U.S. responder immunity legal issues, and Carmine Dulisse, MWCC’s Health, Safety, and Environment Officer, will participate in a discussion covering lessons learned from the company’s recent capping stack demonstration in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.

MWCC company executives and representatives will be available for discussion in booth 1218 in the exhibit hall on Nov. 14 and 15. Booth visitors can learn more about the company and its containment capabilities, view a company video series and see models of MWCC interim and expanded containment system equipment. Animation of the containment system and footage from the capping stack demonstration will also be shown.

The 22nd annual conference attracts key professionals and decision makers from throughout the oil and chemical spill industry, maritime security industry and the marine salvage industry. These groups come together to view and present the latest product offerings, services and technologies, and to discuss the new realities of environmental and security concerns, bringing into focus the intertwined relationships between regulatory, operator and response communities.
