NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Quickcomm, a global leader in Telecommunications Expense Management, today announced its logo will appear on both Vodafone McLaren Mercedes F1 cars at the FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX in Austin, Texas on 16th, 17th and 18th November 2012.
This will be the second year that Vodafone, title partner and Total Communications Partner of the team, has put the Quickcomm logo on the team’s cars. At this year’s Canadian Grand Prix the logo was seen by fans across the globe as Vodafone McLaren Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton fought up from third place past Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel in the closing laps to take an astonishing victory.
The Vodafone McLaren Mercedes partnership is the biggest that Vodafone maintains worldwide. Now in its sixth season, apart from the traditional marketing initiatives, this partnership has allowed Vodafone and McLaren to collaborate in the investigation and development of many new technologies.
Quickcomm was acquired by Vodafone in 2010. It is a subsidiary of Vodafone Global Enterprise, which provides telecommunications expense management solutions to multinational customers across the globe.
“We are excited and honored to again have the Quickcomm brand featured during the FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX 2012,” said Ian Yates, CEO, Quickcomm.
