NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Williams Lea has appointed John Paulson as Chief Executive Officer for the Americas region, leading the growth of their businesses in its largest focus market.
Paulson’s arrival is part of a strategy to continue to build capability in the area of Marketing Services, which is a major growth engine for the Group following its recent acquisition of Tag Worldwide, a leading marketing production agency.
Williams Lea is best known for its leadership in the financial and legal sectors providing BPO services which re-engineer information flow and improve business communication for global firms in these sectors.
However, together with Tag, they see much of their future growth coming from large consumer brands where they can offer services and expertise that help brand owners deliver their marketing communications consistently across all media and all markets through smart centralization of their production.
“We are seeing more and more large consumer brands choosing a smarter way to handle their creative strategy separately from the execution of their marketing communications,” says Conor Davey, Williams Lea Group CEO. “We are uniquely positioned to partner with these brands to help them do so successfully. John’s appointment reflects our commitment to this part of our growth agenda.”
John brings over twenty years of agency experience to Williams Lea. He joins the company from G2 USA where he was CEO of the integrated marketing services firm owned by WPP, the world’s largest communications services group. His success with clients such as Abode, Heineken, Procter & Gamble, Hertz and Campbell Soup Company earned him accolade and regard as a thought leader in the marketing space.
On joining the company, John commented: “The marketing services industry is in a state of much needed transformation. I believe Williams Lea's scale and experience providing optimized, global communications solutions combined with Tag’s proven model offering best in class production across all media is unmatched by the competition. This is an exciting proposition that I look forward to taking to new and existing clients.”
