ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--K.A.W.S. Marketing Group, a specialized sales and marketing firm based in Alpharetta, Georgia, recently volunteered for a third year in a row with the Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta (DSAA), a leading nonprofit that seeks to enhance the lives of individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
Established by the National Down Syndrome Society in 1995 to promote inclusion and acceptance of people with Down syndrome, the annual Buddy Walk was held this year in Centennial Olympic Park. By participating in the walk, the company donated more than 60 hours combined with a team of 15 people.
“Walking in the Buddy Walk is a fun, valuable way for our organization to promote inclusion for those with Down syndrome,” said Scott Corn, president of K.A.W.S. Marketing Group. “Volunteering with organizations like DSAA allows our team to give back and hits especially close to home for me because my youngest son Wyatt has Down syndrome.”
