Event Postponed: Sandy Spring Friends School to Dedicate Nearly 2,000 Panel Solar Array

System installed by Standard Solar and financed by UGI; Array will provide educational opportunities for students

--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Standard Solar, Inc.:

WHAT:	Dedication of a 477 kW ground-mounted and grid tied solar photovoltaic system with an estimated annual output of 665,000 kilowatt hours. The array, located next to the Sandy Spring Friends School (SSFS) Adventure Park, will provide renewable energy to the SSFS campus. The estimated carbon offset of a system this size is 504 metric tons, which is equivalent to removing almost 99 passenger vehicles per year from the road, or a reduction of 1,173 barrels of oil consumed.
