Available for free in the iTunes store, this haunting, immersive mobile experience features a crazed killer who traps players in a dark basement from which they must escape. Utilizing binaural sound technology, B-Reel has created a frightening game of hide-and-seek in which players navigate their way through a pitch-black labyrinth to safety.
An intuitive, minimal interface provides users with clear instructions on when to tap, shake, rotate or shout into their iPhone in order to survive their ordeal. Just like in the movies, loud noises can grab the attention of the killer, so players must silently make their way up the basement stairs or risk being recaptured. The excitement builds as the killer closes in and corners his victims in various eerie scenarios.
With ‘Escape The House – a 3D Sound Experience,’ B-Reel has created an absorbing and terrifyingly real auditory adventure utilizing the sounds of, police sirens, heavy breathing, menacing footsteps, echoes and sudden bangs.
